Kodenji Temple Dainehan-zu Tower Project

This is a facility owned by Kodenji Temple in Saga Prefecture, for storing and displaying Dainehan-zu.
The shape of the tower is an octagonal pyramid with a motif of a Buddhist tool called a Tsuichin. It is a 2 stories tower (1F: Tsujido, 2F: Shonodou) by wooden frame construction method. The main frame has a reciprocal truss structure in which an arc-shaped truss 8 frame made of a combination of 6 m long distribution lumber (120 × 240) is mutually supported like a windmill.
