This is a public integrated high school built in a cold area located two hours by shinkansen from Tokyo,even further north than Sendai. The program of this credit-system high school comprises six departments, including information,welfare,agribusiness(industry related to agriculture that combines processing, sales,and servise baced on agricultual output),and enginieering, and it is hoped that first-graders will participate in as many school activities as possible, and think about each path. this gave rise to the huge 120m by 120m two-layered plan. the large roof is used as a heat collection surface for solar-powered hot-air -type fllor heating. moreover, given that if no student chooses a particular requested. therefore,one-way pre-cast pre-stressed concrete was used. A space called FLA(flexible Learning Area)emerged from the surplus area that arose as a result of the integration of infrequently used laboratories. This space has interior measurements of 6m by 120m, and is used for various student activities.
